Manpreet is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Master’s Program in Biology at New York University (NYU). With over 20 years at NYU, he has published extensively in areas including cancer biology, environmental medicine, and plant systems biology. He has mentored numerous high school students whose research projects have earned top prizes at the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and other top science competitions.

He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and previously conducted research at the Hamel Lab at MIT, the University of Washington Computational Biology Lab, and the Stanford Center on Food Security and the Environment. In high school, he won the Intel Young Scientist Award, the top prize at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), attended the Research Science Institute (RSI), and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for his high school research.
