Summit Research Scholars (SRS) is led by instructors who combine deep academic expertise with firsthand experience in high school research. Manpreet Katari

New York University

Manpreet is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Master’s Program in Biology at New York University (NYU). With over 20 years at NYU, he has published extensively in areas including cancer biology, environmental medicine, and plant systems biology. He has mentored numerous high school students whose research projects have earned top prizes at the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and other top science competitions.

Dhruvik Parikh

Stanford University

Dhruvik is a founding Software Engineer at Mithril, an AI computing startup based in San Francisco. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and previously conducted research at the Hamel Lab at MIT, the University of Washington Computational Biology Lab, and the Stanford Center on Food Security and the Environment. In high school, he won the Intel Young Scientist Award, the top prize at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), attended the Research Science Institute (RSI), and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for his high school research.

Karen Ge

Stanford University

Karen is a Knowles Teaching Fellow and mathematics teacher at the Harvard-Westlake School. She earned her M.A. in Education and B.S. in Mathematics and Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, where she also worked as a curriculum designer for the Graduate School of Education and the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS). In high school, she attended the Research Science Institute (RSI) and the Mathematics Olympiad Program (MOP), an elite training program that selects approximately 50 of the top math students nationwide.
